Now that the stretch of the holidays are over and the new year has begun - there's no more excuses for laziness and seasonal over eating (who am I kidding, over eating is my year round bad habit). So here I am, putting on a pair of wide leg trousers, tucking in my shirt and wearing outside shoes (you know, as opposed to fuzzy slippers with Hello Kitty heads on them).

I am so excited about these jeans because they are exactly what I've been looking for (for instance... in this post!)! AND I got them for $15 at Old Navy on sale! Seriously, Old Navy has come a long way since back in the day when the jeans were SERIOUS "mom jeans". No offense moms! I love moms!!

Missoni Tote, We Are Meant to Be

The other night, I went to Target for much more than I intended to leave with (not unusual). But as I was passing through the accessories section, perusing the sunglasses, this Missoni Travel Tote (on clearance!), sat on a barren shelf, and stared me in the face. I'm pretty sure it's zig zag eye winked at me. 

I definitely didn't think twice about the bag and grabbed it, glanced around to make sure there weren't any threats and like any other crazed football player who loves Missoni - ran to the cashier before anyone could tackle me and rip my Missoni bag from my arms. 

Okay, so it wasn't quite like that, more like I quickly discussed the matter with my boyfriend, who gave me a blank stare back, stated that I needed a new laptop bag and walked right up to the cashier. And then I whispered "TOUCHDOWN" under my breath.
