Life has finally seemed to slow down
for me to take a breath :)
Have you ever worked towards a certain goal whether that might be school, work, training, creating, constructing, etc. where it seems to be all you do? Wash, rinse, and repeat. Wake, work, eat, sleep.
The past 3 weeks have been filled with fun weekends in the bay, early mornings creating lots of foot work all over campuses, dance classes, and falling asleep unintentionally with the lights on and laptop in bed.
I chatted with Vicki about how busy our lives can get, but at the same time, there are people out there who do some crazy things with their days and survive on a wink of sleep. Amazing stamina, I say.
So now that I've had a day to breathe, I've realized that I like my life busy. I like having an itinerary for my day, waking up early, catching a cup of coffee while it's still dewy outside, dinner with friends or a quick dinner and tv session at home, knocking out in bed by 11, fitting in a run on the treadmill, and of course utilizing times like driving and (yes i admit) pooping to catch up with friends on the phone. life seems more exciting that way.
But I do admit that these past couple days have been lovely taking it a bit slower than I have in the recent past. I think my favorite thing to do is to wake up in the morning and spend time rolling around in bed with snoopy's head leaning over the side of the mattress wishing me good morning, checking mail, greeting my morning risers on aim and checking the news and weather.

Okay, I officially suck
at updating all of you with my life and MORE importantly keeping up the challenge of Project 365.
January 28th
Chris and I had Thai food at our favorite Thai Restaurant - Royal Orchid, everytime we went before the same girl would help us, given this place is just about 6 tables big, but she was such a darling. Recently we haven't seen her but still love the food. Pad See Eew and Pad Thai please!
January 29th
Chris' last Thursday night sUCR ride. Followed by beer and appetizers at Getaway Cafe.
January 30th
Bertie and I went on a hunt for my preggo cousin's baby shower gift. Off to our favorite place in the world.. TARGET!
Inevitably one of our favorite sections; the Music and Sound section of the card selection. We just stand, listen, dance and laugh. It's pretty much a scene.
And then we eventually made it to the mall and grabbed some Mongolian BBQ, we thought we were slick with our bowl packing ways.. but the mexicans behind us apparently go there often because they flattened their meat against the sides of the bowl creating an extension of the bowl and then proceeded to fill the hollow middle with ingredients. Damnit. Next time we'll know!
And then I spilled hot sauce on myself and on the floor at the counter trying to close the little sauce cup. So Bertie told me to go sit down while she got me another hot sauce cup in fear that I'd make more of a mess. And then while she was grabbing napkins I spilled her water on our table.

My cousin's baby shower was so ADORABLE and her husband's the youngest of 5 sisters, so the families coming together was so much fun. Not to mention competitive, we played baby shower games and the Aunties from his side were quick women.
One of Lawrence's (Cousin's hubby) Aunties grabbed a hold of my camera and couldnt figure out how to use the view finder. (These pictures of course coming from someone else's camera)
So it took a couple tries and I couldnt stop laughing.
Props to Bertie's assistance in helping me choose a giraffe themed array of baby necessities.

Super Bowl Sunday! Complete with lots of food, alcohol, and ROCK BAND! :)

Chris and I had been planning to make this meal for a couple days by then but also wanted to grab dinner with friends. So we made this dinner right when I got home from work and then later grabbed late happy hour with the gang.
February 3
Cal State San Bernadino isnt so bad. The campus is wide and has a peaceful touch to it, walking through you notice the sound of the wind.. and that's about it. I spent my day working and inbetween got a couple good hours reading on comfy, worn, college couches with the sunshine hitting my book.
February 4
I got my 1993 Cannondale Track frame today :) Now time to clean it up and ride it :)

January 17th
Snowboarded at Snow Summit with Vicki, Michelle, Heather and friends :)

Will turned 52, and we celebrated it like young kids at yardhouse.
Ruthie convinced me to get a creme brulee.
Janet tried to help me make ringtones for my iphone that night, it didnt work right away, i was sad. haha.
January 21st
So at Will's birthday at Yardhouse Daly mentioned how he wanted to save money and also how he needed a hair cut. I put two and two together and told him that I could cut his hair so he could save money! I first cut his hair and made him look like a military man, so he suggested that I cut it into a mohawk as a solution. So I did, I WANTED TO SAVE YOU MONEY DALY!!! hahahah, now I think he forever hates me.

Will had his real celebrating at the Auld Dubliner in Tustin and we got yummy Korean BBQ after.
And then we witnessed Chris sticking his finger down his throat and puking on Will on purpose. You see new things everyday!
January 24th
Worked all day, on a Saturday mind you, and then came home and cleaned my room. Clean room, dirty socks.
January 25th
Vicki, Tiv and I drove out to Irvine to see Vibe, since neither of us throughout our college career ever got to see it.
January 26th
I went to 2 club meetings after work and did presentations and then went to Big/Lil Pick up with DSP. Picture to be posted :)
January 27th
I picked up a jazz class at UCR. It was fun :)
