I am quite in love with each of these items. The Kate Spade x Keds collaboration has made me weak at the knees - almost weak enough to order online through Neiman Marcus with full shipping. My heart said yes, and my wallet said...

"Whoa there, tiger. Whoa."

I'll sleep on it, and maybe tomorrow they will be mine :)

Instagram Update

I wanted to craft a post to explain the reason for my absence, but really the truth is that...

 I caught the lazy bug.

But I promise I haven't been completely complacent for the past couple weeks! My recent activities include planning and prepping for my best friend's house warming party, eating, more eating, Nike Training Club work outs (to recover from the house warming party and the amount of amazing left over food my BFF sent me home with), and spending time with good friends.

Happy Birthday Ruthie!

Over the weekend, we spent a wonderful afternoon celebrating Ruthie's birthday at Russell's in Old Town Pasadena.

 I met Ruthie through Vicki, a couple years ago and I truly miss the times when we all lived in the same city and were only a hop and a skip away from happy hour gatherings, shopping, giggles and more :)

Ruthie, thank you for being such an amazing woman, sister, confidant, and friend :) You've been so supportive through everything and I'm so blessed to have you in my life!

Just Beach Peachy

This weekend, we knew we wanted to take advantage of the warmer weather, so with what seemed like the rest of Southern California - we found ourselves at the beach. 

I met my dear friends, Heidi and Jason at the dog beach with their beautiful dog Meika and Snoopy. Feeling in the seafood mood, and also hearing lots of good reviews about Shuck Oyster Bar we then, made it on over to The OC Mart Mix to have some oysters.

The service and food were awesome and the place is a bright, comfortable and warm setting - perfect after a day at the beach.

  And, oh hey! It's Leonard Chan, co-founder of Shuck Oyster Bar serving up some tasty Oysters for delighted customers.
